Transformation — The Process of Change — By Dr. Stan DeKoven

One thing we know is inevitable in life…life never stays the same. We may be growing by God’s grace, or may be resistant to change, but no matter how hard we try, we cannot resist change. Though change cannot be resisted, it can be managed, even benefited from it, and we can certainly participate in the changes we face.

The book Transformation by Dr. Stan DeKoven is all about change. Its focus begins with internal change, that is, changing one’s mind/heart to change our destiny or destination, and ends with the principle of change for the world in which we live, the world for which Christ died. In the teaching, there are three primary Greek words that describe change, Metamorphosis, Metanoia and Telios, and all have a beginning in knowing who we are in Christ.

This book, along with the audio or DVD series by the same name, are a part of a teaching series done at Fontana Christian Center International Ministries in Fontana, CA, for the benefit of that local congregation. The book is all about helping us to know what and how to change, to become all God has created us to be.

Finacial Integrity

God’s Plan For Financial Integrity– By Dr. Stan DeKoven and Dr. Steve Mills

The subject of finances is mainly either neglected or abused in the church today. There are many believers who are living in financial bondage because they have been taught it is God’s will for His people to be poor. Many proclaim it was God’s will for them to be poor and if they tried to better themselves they would be going against God’s will for their lives. This position is untrue and unbiblical, as we will soon see. At the same time there are believers living in bondage because they have been taught prosperity is a sign of faith. Thus, if you do not have an abundance of things then you are not spiritual. Consequently, people live above their means, often by going into debt, trying to keep up the appearance of prosperity.

Even though they look prosperous to the outsider they are in financial bondage. These are the two extremes when dealing with finances. The truth is in the middle. It is the purpose of this book to bring a balanced Biblical view, leading to Financial Integrity. 3 John 2:2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. God is truly interested in our finances. The Lord is as interested in our financial prosperity and physical health as He is in our spiritual prosperity. Our financial situation hinges on the condition of our spiritual life and renewed mind. The flow of the blessings of God in our lives is in direct proportion to the health and prosperity of our soul (mind, emotions, will and heart). If you notice God’s blessings are no longer flowing, as they once did, give yourself a spiritual checkup.

Real Worship Anyone? 

Advancing God’s Kingdom through the Intimacy and Power of Prophetic Worship —  By Mbasekei Ayomobi

From scripture and from our daily walk with the Lord, we must find worship to be a journey into the prophetic realm that entrenches us firmly in His present truth purposes. We must aspire, each time we prepare the heart to open the mouth, to actually enter His presence. There, He inhabits the worship and praise, thereby giving it divine life and beauty, and leaving us His revealed glory, and counsel. Our praise and worship flow from the fact of our growing relationship with Him, and as we speak and sing from sanctified adoring hearts, He, in turn, quickens and stirs our hearts with the glory and authority of heaven, to the degree that we start to prophesy His very mind and will. He becomes at once the melody and the harmony, the lyrics and the life thereof.

This is the place where every contrary rule and spirit is overthrown and the authority of Christ enthroned. We have been called to sing the song of the Lord with a passion, beauty and power that is all heavenly.
