I enjoy Christmas movies, even the never ending sappy ones shown constantly on the Hallmark channel. However, the one I will watch without fail again this year, is the colorized 1951 “Scrooge” movie, a Christmas Carol starring Alastair Sims at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpbthuKFuFA
The Dickens story portrayed by Sim is by far the best adaption of the classic. I especially like when Scrooge wakes up after his long dreadful night. I realized he has a fresh chance at life. It is a do over of sorts. His response to grace is outstanding; a beautiful picture of what salvation should produce in our lives… it is yummy!
