Description
As believers we know intuitively not to put our trust in mammon which is the biblical term for the world system. As much as I love the United States and still grieve the loss of the 9/11 victims, I acknowledge that my primary loyalty is to Christ. We have no king but Jesus, and all our national allegiance must be subordinate to the Kingdom to God.
Grace and Truth, these words seem simple; but they are full of meaning. For years, I was raised in a more traditional denomination emphasizing a form of holiness. Yet I believed in God’s sovereign grace, I struggled to find balance. Balance between thinking I am free to do whatever I want and believing I might do something wrong and garner God’s horrible wrath.
In this book, Grace, and Truth: The Twin Towers of a Father’s Heart, I try to find true balance between these teachings. John the apostle used these two words to describe the very essence of who Jesus was and is, which essentially presents who the Father is. So, join the journey with me, as we explore the twin towers of the Word… Grace and Truth.
